When I first became a nurse in a critical care setting, I saw many who were without health. I began to ask myself questions like; “Why is this person unwell?”, “Could there have been someone to help them be healthy?”, and “What can I do?” So, I began a 10-year educational goal to become a minister with emphasis on counseling and teaching biblical life principles to care for the mind and spirit of a person, and a family nurse practitioner to care for the body.”
What made you want to join this clinic? “I wanted to surround myself with people who are committed to and are passionate about caring for people, and that’s what Integrated Medical Group is all about!”
What do you enjoy doing in your free time? “I enjoy teaching community classes, learning about nutrition, running, gardening and spending time with my husband and three big dogs!”

What made you want to become a chiropractor? 'I've gone since I was a little kid & always loved how it made me feel. Also, I've never been a big pill person, & after working in the pharmacy & seeing a patient in his late 20's/early 30's on SEVEN meds, I asked what was wrong with him. The pharmacist said, 'The sad part is he needs 2, but is taking the other 5 to counter-act the side effects.' That's when I said that there has to be something better than this.'
What made you want to start a new clinic? 'It was never my original plan, but I truly wanted to help people. I decided to stay in Defiance & help the people where I grew up & be able to give back to them.'
