What makes Rejuvenating® procedures different from other hair restoration techniques?
Rejuvenating Hair Restoration® channels natural growth factors found in your own blood to achieve lasting results. This technique uses PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) to restore shape and improve tone and texture. Other products including Hyaluronic Acid fillers and Botox are also used.
Unlike prescription drug treatments, PRP treatment has minimal unrelated side effects. Rejuvenating Hair Restoration requires no downtime and each treatment can be completed in under an hour.
What is PRP?
PRP stands for Platelet Rich Plasma. PRP is a product used in regenerative medicine to help the body heal itself. Platelets can stimulate tissue regeneration. When PRP is used with the Rejuvenating Hair Restoration® procedure, it can stimulate collagen growth and reduce signs of aging including wrinkles, fine lines, and uneven texture and color.
How does this process work?
We take a sample of your blood, then spin it in a centrifuge. This process separates the platelets and plasma from the rest of the blood to concentrate the healing and growth factors.
Once your Platelets and Plasma have been isolated, the provider will apply numbing cream to the head. Using a very small needle, your own growth factors will be injected into the areas of hair loss to prevent further hair loss and to stimulate the follicle for new and/or thicker hair growth.
After injections are completed, the remaining PRP will be microneedled into the scalp to further promote hair growth.
