Rejuvenating FACIAL® AND FACELIFT®
What is a Rejuvenating facial?
The Rejuvenating Facial is a highly sought-after celebrity beauty treatment to restore the vitality and youthfulness of the facial skin. The process of doing a Rejuvenating facial is a combination of microneedling and platelet-rich plasma (PRP). Microneedling uses short, fine needles to puncture the skin. These needles range in size from .5 to 2.5 millimeters. Rest assured, the needles feel like tiny pinpricks and only go skin-deep. The pricks are used to “injure” the skin, prompting your skin to heal itself by producing elastin and collagen, and allowing the PRP to penetrate deeper.
Once the microneedling is completed, PRP is applied to your skin topically. PRP is a concentrate of platelet-rich plasma protein produced from blood. The PRP is rich in eight growth factors and nutrients that encourage wound healing, new tissue growth, collagen production, and blood circulation to bring about faster and long-lasting anti-aging effects.
With the Rejuvenating Facial, Integrated Medical Group is focused on helping each of our clients achieve their dreams of flawless, youthful, and vibrant skin most naturally and safely.
What makes Rejuvenating® procedures different from other facials/facelifts?
Rejuvenating Facials® and Facelifts® harness the healing and growth factors found in your own blood to achieve natural results that last longer and can actually stimulate collagen production and improved circulation to the skin. This technique uses PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) to restore shape and improve tone and texture. Other products including Hyaluronic Acid fillers and Botox are also used.
What is PRP?
PRP stands for Platelet Rich Plasma. PRP is a product used in regenerative medicine to help the body heal itself. Platelets can stimulate tissue regeneration. When PRP is used with the Rejuvenating Facial or Facelift, it can stimulate collagen growth and reduce signs of aging including wrinkles, fine lines, and uneven texture and color.
What is Hyaluronic Acid?
Sold under the names Restylane® or Juvederm®, Hyaluronic Acid (HA) is a naturally-occurring molecule found throughout the body. HA provides cushion and lubrication in the joints, heart, lungs and more.
In the skin, HA binds to and retains water molecules for hydration. Research also suggests that HA protects collagen from being broken down within the skin. As we age, our body produces less HA. This leads to dull-looking color and texture of the face, as well as “sagging”, wrinkling and less plump-appearing skin.
What is Botox®?
Botox® or Dysport® the brand names of injections that use a medically-derived toxin to temporarily prevent a muscle from moving. As a result, the skin overlying the muscle appears smoother and less wrinkled. The results last approximately 3-6 months.

Facial or Facelift, what is the difference?
Both procedures harness the power of PRP to rejuvenate skin and reduce signs of aging for younger, healthier looking skin. With the Rejuvenating Facelift®, we also inject small amounts of Hyaluronic Acid and Botox to provide additional lift and reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.
How does this process work?
We take a sample of your blood, then spin it in a centrifuge. This process separates the platelets and plasma from the rest of the blood to concentrate the healing and growth factors.
Once the Platelets and Plasma have been isolated, the provider will apply numbing cream to the face. Using a very small needle, your own growth factors will be injected into the face in strategic locations to begin repairing the skin and deeper tissue.
With the Rejuvenating Facelift®, we add Hyaluronic Acid, to increase collagen production, and Botox®, to relax muscles to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, in strategic locations for natural results.
Is it painful?
No! Topical, prescription-strength anesthetics are used. Treatments are generally well-tolerated, although some patients may briefly experience mild discomfort or pressure during treatments.
How long does it last?
It is recommended that Rejuvenating Facials® be done twice yearly to maintain results. For Rejuvenating Facelifts®, we recommend yearly. Individual recommendations are based on patient’s age, severity of signs of aging, and patient preference.
The bottom line
The Rejuvenating facial is a non-surgical, minimally invasive way to achieve younger, brighter skin!
